Well, for the price this item is pretty good, it shorts out a lot making you have to manuver the wire around to get the reception in and while doing so you hear a lot of crackling and sometimes the sound will go out of one or both ears until your position it correctly. however, it is very inexpensive and comes with a free scooby doo keychain. It does work though, it just does not pin point exactly what you want to hear, it basically applifies all sounds, but I am guessing the professional one for $50.00 does the same exact thing so don't waste your money on the $50.00 one, just buy this one because they use the same technoligy and both hear up to 50 decibles away. The seller was very prompt in sending it and I recieved it sooner than I expected. It is small and descreat and if used correctly it will do the job needed. All in all, it is worth it for the price and fun, and would really come in handy for those out there will poor hearing, it would enable to hear things they normally could not and for less than five bucks. This is a cool product. I would buy from this seller again.

Yes, it doesn't pinpoint properly, it's more omni-directional.
The volume can go loud but for those who hear normally, it's distance is the same distance as your ears, so there's not much of an advantage, at least it's like this with the one I got.
The design and sleekness is good, but it could be much better. I want to give the more expensive models a checkout.
I think it's good for the need in hearing.

It works only if you place the thing right in front of your mouth. The advertised range of the product is a complete farce. In summary, a completely useless thing. The positive is that it is really cheap, and you don't feel any effect on the wallet for the wasted money.

I bought spy ear from babysellsmusic (a user) and I followed the instructions on the back. I opened up the battery cover and pulled out the battery. Inside I found that the battery had corroded into the mechanism of the device. DO NOT BUY FROM BABYSELLSMUSIC! TOTAL RIP OFF.
