Great little camera, but beware cheap clones Apr 26, 2010 By Criminologist
This is a great little camera, but anyone comparing prices should be aware that most of the sellers are offering cheap clones of the original. The price may be right, but the build quality of the clones is terrible. The original has a metal case and slider switches. The clones have a plastic case and pushbutton switches.

This is the worse purchase I have ever made it did NOT work from the start. I am so disappointed amazon would allow such crap to be put out there for sell.

I really wanted to like this camera but it was awful.
To start with it does not come with a card (as others have said). Luckily I had a card.
The instructions are not very clear and I had trouble getting the camera to start.
After about a dozen tries it finally started recording. The recording quality was awful; flashing lights and choppy video. Granted it could have been my card but I was not willing to invest in a card for a camera that was trouble from the start.
Stay away from this one.
After returning this I ordered a different mini DV and love it.

I have to say this was worth every penny. I work as a police officer and this devise is amazing for the money.

No flash disk Jan 19, 2011 By Rich
I order one MD80; it came without the 2GB flash card. Amazon replaced the first camera with a second camera. It also had no 2GB flash card. I returned the first MD80. Also the first MD80 would not record. I finally bought two 8GB flash disk myself. The MD80 did not function as stated or come with the 2GB flash disk.
