This popular Hammers compact 6x18 travel binocular is small, lightweight, and perfect for use during hiking, birding, camping, sports and cultural events. It weighs merely 4.4oz. and gives ample 6x power for most instances. The binocular has fixed auto focus lens system that gives instant clear view from 10ft out when you hold it up to your eyes. It also features 18-mm objective lenses with premium Ruby red coatings for sharper, more detailed images. Very attractive soft rubber coated main body. Comfortable and non-slippery grip when using. I purchased these for watching birds and such and I am very impressed with how good they work. My father has some large expensive binoculars and these work just as good as those, but are small and lightweight. I keep them in my purse so I will always have them handy when I need them! I highly recommend these little jewels!!!

Allow me to introduce myself, I am a Full-Time Public Safety Officer and a Part-Time Private Eye. For YEARS I have been after the elusive compact-mini perma-focus pair of binoculars at a small price. I've literally tried and bought DOZENS of binoculars that I wanted to use, day or night, that will fit in my coat or pants pocket, that I don't need to spend an annoying amount of time focusing or Money buying, Unfortunately, I have never found one pair worth keeping, but thats all changed now. I am please to report I have FINALLY found a "keeper" pair of binoculars in the Hammers Mini Compact Perma Focus Brand. When I first put them up to my eyes I was BLOWN AWAY on the clarity of focus, at any object, at any distance, all without doing a damn thing except looking through them. My Father brought back a perfect pair of fine huge German Dienstglas Artillery Binoculars from WW2 (worth about 650.00 now) and as I kid I would spend HOURS looking through them, marvelling at how i never really had to focus them, they just stayed focused for any object at any distance. All the other binoculars I've EVER owned would NEVER even come close to comparing with that pair (which at 93 years old he still has and uses BTW) throughout my life I have searched and searched for a compact pair of Binoc's that compare to those Fine old German Binoculars, and I am here to tell you these are the best anyone will get for the price. If you are a Hunter, Police Officer, Investigator, Security Officer, in the Military, or just a plain old Gumshoe Private Detective like me, you will just be FLOORED at how these little binoc's perform and at the price a guy with a Thin wallet (VERY THIN) like me can afford. I'm buying Two or Three more pair ASAP (one for a spare and and couple for Christmas presents. All I have to say is : Try 'em and you'll LOVE 'em too!

Initally, I was a little skeptical about the "auto focus" feature, but I found this product to be well made and they work as advertised. No complaints. I look forward to using them at the next stage show I attend.
